What are Standees in Super Mario Wonder?
If a player is in their ghost form, they can use a Standee to revive themselves. The Standees are placed by players from their own game and can be placed all around a course to help out players who are having a tough time. They are usually placed near sites that are dangerous so that if you’ve made a mistake, you can revive and try again. For example, you may find a Standee next to a pool of lava that you could fall into.
You may also come across Gray Standees. These are standees that were once played by players and have since been deactivated. However, they can be reactivated if you touch them.
To place a Standee, crouch and press X. If you place another Standee on a course, the previous one placed will disappear.
To purchase them, you can get different designs from the Poplin Shops. In total, there are 144 Standees that you can purchase and collect!
