The Counterfeit Credits quest in Star Wars: Outlaws tasks you with tracking down the source of some illegal currency, and contains a few steps that require you to find people or things. If you need help finishing the quest by locating the Market Trader and the Soup Kitchen, here's everything you need to know.

Counterfeit Credits quest walkthrough

Assuming you've started the Counterfeit Credits Intel Chain in Outlaws by speaking to the Pyke sat alone in the headquarters on Mirogana, your first step is to find fake credits at the nearby market.

Where to find the Market Trader?

You'll need to find a specific market trader at the Mirogana Market. He can be found opposite the weapons vendor on the north side of the area; his stall is also bathed in green light, so he stands out.

Speak to him and sell any item you choose. He will pay with the counterfeit credits you're looking for, allowing you to speak to him and ask where he got them.

He'll inform you about a specific Soup Kitchen located on Mirogana, where the credits circulate from. The next step is to head there.

Soup Kitchen location

The Soup Kitchen is found in the Crimson Dawn district of Mirogana. Getting into here can be difficult if you don't have a good reputation with the faction.

If you do have a good enough reputation to enter their district, make your way to the landing pad. You'll find some steps here that lead up to a restricted area. Sneak your way through here to the opposite side, and you'll find a fan that Nix can stop.

Enter through, and take a left to locate a room with a ladder leading down into the Soup Kitchen.

If you don't have the reputation for the above method, you can instead enter the district and get to the landing pad by using a vent near the entrance.

After you get into the Soup Kitchen room, head to a big box with the name tag 'Credits' and interact with it. This presents you with a choice to either warn Crimson Dawn or tell the Pykes what you found.

Which faction to side with?

The main reward for either faction you side with is increasing your reputation with them, so it mainly comes down to which one you prefer.

Crimson Dawn tend to have better gear on their merchants, so I'd say they're the slightly better choice overall.
