Starfield's Premium Edition offered early access to Bethesda's huge spacefaring RPG, but it's still worth picking up if you're looking to get even more out of the game - particularly for anyone playing on Xbox Game Pass.
Alongside a digital artbook and a copy of the soundtrack, you'll get some in-game items too as part of the Premium Edition. There are cosmetic items, a new questline, and more to be found, but it's not immediately obvious how to find the Starfield Premium Edition bonuses in-game.
We can show you where to find those goodies within the game, although naturally, you're free to try and find them on your own.
SPOILER WARNING: The following contains some spoilers for the first hour of Starfield - although if you're digging around for your preorder goodies already, there's a good chance you're further than that anyway.
Where can you find your Premium Edition bonuses in Starfield?
Finding your Premium Edition bonuses in Starfield isn’t too difficult, but you will need to progress through the game to a certain point.
Play through the main campaign until you reach a place called the Lodge. This isn’t long into the game so shouldn't take you too much time.
Head into the basement to the right of the front door of the Lodge. Inside this basement, you’ll find a bunch of different workbenches where you can craft different items. It’s here that you’ll be able to access your Starfield Premium Edition bonuses.
The different items available with the Premium Edition will be available as options to apply to different items you craft. For example, the Old Mars skin will be available to apply to your mining tool. You can then craft them or apply them to your current gear.
All Starfield Premium Edition bonuses
If you purchased the Starfield Premium Edition primarily for early access or the future DLC expansion, you might not know exactly what bonuses you received with your purchase. Here is a list of all of them:
- Constellation Skin Pack
- 5 days early access
- Shattered Space story expansion
- Digital Artbook
- Original Soundtrack
- Old Mars/Deep Mining skins
The Starfield Premium Edition will get you the Constellation Skin Pack, including the Equinox Laser Rifle, Spacesuit, Helmet and Boost Pack. It will also grant you the Old Mars skin for your laser cutter mining tool, as well as the Deep Mining skin for your helmet and boost pack if you pre-ordered.
Starfield Premium Edition also includes 5 days early access, the Shattered Space story expansion when it releases in the future, and access to Starfield’s Digital Artbook and Original Soundtrack. We don't currently know anything about the story expansion, but we'll be sure to keep you updated when we learn more!
