Stellar Blade Weapon Core locations & how to get more
I'll explain how you can get Weapon Core and Damaged Weapon Core in Stellar Blade while discussing the vendor from whom you can exchange Damaged Weapon Cores for good ones.
Weapon Cores are among the most important upgrade materials in Stellar Blade. They are required for upgrading EVE's sword, Blood Edge. Each sword upgrade costs one Weapon Core in the game, and you can even use extra to obtain the Vitcoins required for purchasing outfits.
If you are on the hunt for Weapon Cores in Stellar Blade, I'll help you out as I explain how you can get Weapon Cores and how to get a few extras using one of the vendors in the game.
Stellar Blade Weapon Core locations
In Stellar Blade, you can get Weapon Cores by defeating the main and side bosses found on Eidos 7, Matrix 11, Wasteland, Great Desert, Xion and Orbit Elevator. Almost every boss in the game drops a Weapon Core and some drop Damaged Weapon Cores that you can exchange for a Weapon Core.
In my first playthrough, I was not hunting for Weapon Cores in particular. I was just playing through and completing every quest and side activity it had to offer. By the time I reached Elder Naytiba's hideout, I had an extra Weapon Core with my Blood Edge weapon maxed out.
I would recommend that players complete all the side quests, as they mostly lead to the Elite Boss encounters. You unlock new side quests when you submit Hyper Cells on Xion.
Here are some of the bosses that drop Weapon Core or Damaged Weapon Core in Stellar Blade:
- Gigas
- Tachy
- Unidentified Naytiba
- Karakuri
- Brute
- Abbadon
- Corrupter
- Maelstrom
- Stalker
- Juggernaut
- Behemoth
How to get more Weapon Cores
To get more Weapon Cores, you can exchange two Damaged Weapon Cores for a good one from D1G-g2r's shop menu. You can find him in the Scrapyard location in the Wastelands area and can access his shop after completing the quest called Plan to Clean the Earth.
Keep in mind that progressing D1G-g2r's questline will move him right past the main entrance of Xion on the left side. So, if you don't find D1G-g2r in the Scrapyard, he might have moved to Xion.
