Stray Neo Corp Factory: How To Get In

How To Get Into The Neo Corp Factory

The Neo Corp Factory quest begins when Clementine tasks you with finding an Atomic Battery to power the subway system. She reckons that the Neo Corporation has one inside its factory, located in Midtown. To infiltrate the factory, you’ll need to speak to Clementine's contact. He’s a robot that’s wearing a bomber jacket.

To Clementine’s contact, head out of her apartment and back towards the main square of Midtown. Keep going in the direction of the subway system until you get to a clothing store on your right. Just past this building is an alleyway with a teal neon light at the end of it. In an archway, you will spot Blazer, Clementine’s contact.

After speaking with Blazer, he’ll task you with finding two disguise items to infiltrate the factory. You will need to find:

  • A Worker Jacket
  • A Worker Helmet

The first item is relatively easy to find. Firstly, retreat back down the alleyway towards the main street and turn 180 degrees. You should see a clothing shop with several mannequins in the window. Look closely and you’ll spot that one of them is wearing a high visibility workers jacket.

Walking into the shop and you’ll see that you can try to steal the jacket from the mannequin right away. However, if you try to do so, the shopkeeper will catch and stop you. Instead, you’ll need to head into the back room and distract him using the boombox. To do that, though, you’ll need a cassette tape.

The cassette tape can be found on the ground floor of Clementine’s apartment block. A group of young robots are complaining that they are being watched by three security cameras. Look up above and you’ll see the three cameras looking down into the courtyard. Climbing your way up and jumping on them will destroy the three security cameras. Then you can collect the cassette tape from Simon.

Head back to the shop and place the cassette tape into the jukebox. This will cause the shopkeeper to leave the shop floor and enter the back room. You can now steal the Worker Jacket without any issues.

Stray Neo Corp Factory: Worker Helmet

The Worker Helmet is arguably even easier to find than the Worker Jacket. Head towards the main square in midtown and look for a shop with robots walking in the front door with cardboard boxes.

On approach, a robot guarding the door will tell you that you can’t enter the shop while it is being restocked. However, there is an easy workaround for our feline friend. Outside the shop front, you’ll see that the cardboard boxes are placed on the ground before being carried into the store. While these boxes are on the floor, you can jump into them. Wait for a robot to carry you through the front door and you’ll have infiltrated the hat shop.

From here, you can simply walk up to the Worker Helmet in the shop window and interact with it to steal it. Then, look to your left and you’ll see a small grate that you can walk through. You’ll need to swipe a piece of wood out of the way first, though.

Now you can head back to Blazer and give him both the Worker Helmet and the Worker Jacket. He will then be able to smuggle you into the Neo Corp Factory.
