How to Wall Jump in Street Fighter 6
Curious about the Wall Jump in Street Fighter 6? It's a tricky move and has some twists, so be sure to read on to find out how to perform this unique attack.
Street Fighter 6 features a whole host of new and familiar combos that you can pull off to unleash some truly devastating attacks - one of which is the infamous Wall Jump.
This move can be a little tricky to pull off in SF6, so below we’ll be going through everything you need to know about Wall Jumping in the game and how you can quickly add it to your move pool.
How do you Wall Jump?
The inputs for Wall Jumping are relatively simple: You just need to be near a wall and, once you’ve jumped up into the air, press the forward or back buttons respectively to perform the move.
There are a great many combos and moves to master in Street Fighter 6, so remembering the inputs can get a little overwhelming.
However, there is a small catch: The Wall Jump is a Unique Attack, which means only certain characters can perform it. In this case, the only character that can Wall Jump in Street Fighter 6 is Chun-Li.
Fortunately, there is a way for you to be able to use the Wall Jump as a different character, much closer to home.
How to unlock Wall Jumping in World Tour
To unlock Wall Jumping in Street Fighter 6 for your unique avatar, you're going to need to master Chun-Li's fighting style.
While Chun-Li is the only character that can utilize the Wall Jump in the Fighting Grounds, there is a way for your custom character to learn how to perform it as well in Street Fighter 6’s World Tour mode.
As you progress through the campaign, you will encounter some of Street Fighter’s most famous characters and, eventually, become their pupil to learn their Fighting Styles. You can do this with every character, from Blanka to Zangief.
While your first master is Luke, you’ll quickly be seeking out a new style. In Chapter 2-1, you’ll be introduced to Chun-Li who, after a little bit of persuading, will enroll you into her group.
Once you become her student, you will have access to Chun-Li’s Fighting Style and, as such, you’ll be able to perform Wall Jumps as your custom-made avatar.
