Street Fighter 6 Open Beta start and end dates
The Street Fighter 6 Open Beta runs from May 19 to 21. This gives players a full weekend to play as much Street Fighter as they can. The beta begins at 12 AM PT/ 3 AM ET/8 AM BST and runs until the same time on Sunday night/Monday morning.
Something to note, the Open Beta is only available on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. PlayStation 4 users are going to have to wait for the full version of the game.
Street Fighter 6 Open Beta characters
Capcom has confirmed that the Open Beta will feature all of the same content as the most recent closed beta test. This means we will have access to eight of the eighteen Street Fighter 6 characters from the full roster. These characters are:
- Luke
- Jamie
- Ryu
- Ken
- Chun-Li
- Guile
- Kimberley
- Juri
If your favourite is not on this list, then unfortunately you will have to wait until the full game launches on June 2 to play them.
- The Street Fighter 6 character creator called an "abomination", in the best way.
Street Fighter 6 Open Beta modes & features
There are quite a few features and game modes included in the Open Beta. Players will be able to create an avatar and explore the Battle Hub. There you will be able to access all of the online features, like Ranked Matches, Casual Matches, Battle Hub Matches, and Open Tournaments.
Training Mode will be available during the Open Beta, so no need to spend hours in one of the character tutorials, carefully avoiding the input for Ryu's Critical Art. You will be able to practice with all 8 characters in the beta, so be sure to pick up some new combos.
Like the full game, this Open Beta will include crossplay. This means players from all systems can play together, and you can play with friends on other platforms.
That is it for the Street Fighter 6 Open Beta. For more on the history of the game, check out how Street Fighter 2 accidentally invented combos.
