How to catch Cuddlefish in Sun Haven
Here's how you can catch Cuddlefish in Sun Haven, alongside all of the best characters to gift the item to, and even how you can get your very own Fish Mount.
If you're looking to get the elusive Fish Mount Whistle in Sun Haven, you'll need to catch a Cuddlefish. These cute creatures are only found in the sea and are needed to also complete Peter's quest 'Angler's Bet'.
Cuddlefish is available to catch across all seasons and can be found in the sea in the Sun Haven region. The sea is located on the southern coast section of the map, where you will also find the Beach and Peter's Fishing Store.
At the store, you can buy better fishing rods which will increase your fishing skills and make the task a little easier.
You will earn 22 XP for every Cuddlefish you catch.
Cuddlefish can be sold for 29 Coins each or cooked at a Fish Grill to make Leaf Wrapped Cuddlefish.
This dish can then be sold for 90 Coins or gifted to NPCs, all of which will have a neutral response to the gift.
You will also need Leafie's Leaf to make the dish, which is an item dropped when defeating Leafie monsters.
Nearly all NPCs will accept a Cuddlefish with a neutral response, except for Catherine who dislikes Cuddlefish.
You will need to catch five Cuddlefish in order to fulfil Peter's 'Angler's Bet' quest. The reward for this is 15 Community Tokens, 250 XP for fishing, and a Fishing Skill Tome.
You will also need a Cuddlefish along with one of each fish to complete the Large Fish Tank in the Museum. The reward for this is the Fish Mount Whistle which can summon a unique Fish Mount.
