The following are the minimum and recommended system requirements for playing on PC.
Minimum system requirements:
- OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit only)
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 10 GB available space
Recommended system requirements:
- OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit only)
- Processor: Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-8350 or better
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 970 4GB/AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB or better
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 10 GB available space
The memory cost is low, and the storage space is only 10GB which is a refreshing sight, particularly in a world where games are getting larger and larger. It's not uncommon to see 100+ GB games these days.
As System Shock is a somewhat contained experience, it will only take approximately 6 hours to complete on the easiest difficulty. This range will increase to upwards of 30 hours on higher difficulties and with full exploration.
