The primary use of The Cycle Frontier Waterweed Filament is to craft Combat Stims which you can bring into raid to heal yourself. You will need two Old medicine, one Pale Ivy Blossom, and two of our Waterweed Filaments to craft the healing item at the workbench. 

Whilst this is not the strongest medical consumable in the game, it is the stim that provides the most healing, making it the most efficient for use in the heat of the battle with its three-second use time. 

Furthermore, it is needed for some Osiris missions, so knowing where to find the precious resource can prove very valuable information in the progression of your prospecting career.
