Did you get a warning that your account was restricted the last time you tried to play THE FINALS? Well, the good news is you likely didn't do anything wrong, and your account isn't banned, this is just a common side effect of overwhelmed servers. With that out of the way, here's what you need to do to start playing again if you receive a notice on the game that your account is restricted, also known as error TFMR0007.

Keep queuing

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again! Sometimes, a bit of persistence is all you need to fix the account-restricted issue on THE FINALS. Keep searching for matches, and eventually, you'll probably get through.

Try different gamemodes

If the queue still won't pop and you can't get the TFMR0007 error to go away, try searching for matches in different gamemodes. While you might get a notification that your account is restricted when looking for a match in Tournaments, searching in Quickplay might fix it!

Restart THE FINALS

A simple restart fixes most errors and bugs, including the TFMR0007 error that's causing players to receive an alert that their account is restricted on THE FINALS. Hard restart THE FINALS, and when you launch it again, there's a decent chance that the TFMR0007 error is ancient history.

Wait for a fix

If, after trying everything, you're still plagued with a restricted account, all that's left to do is wait for a fix from the developers. The devs are hard at work making sure the game functions properly, and with the prevalence of the TFMR0007 error, there'll surely be a patch to fix it in the not-so-distant future.

Unless your account truly is banned, the fixes outlined above should mend any issues relating to your account being restricted on THE FINALS. If the problem persists, consider contacting Support because there might be something more serious afflicting your account.

Unfortunately, this isn't the only error or bug you can encounter on THE FINALS. Check out our homepage for THE FINALS to learn how to fix other account-related issues like error code TFLA0002 and the mouse freezing bug.
