The Last of Us Part 1 Bill's Town Artifacts Locations
After discussing with Ellie about some smoke in the distance, you'll land in front of some buildings after traversing through the forest. You'll also have to take out a Clicker in a shed. You'll find the Pills Note in the building on the right after stepping on a small metal staircase. After finding your way inside after a creaky door, go left from the hallway. Ellie will start learning how to whistle. Next to the white boxes, you'll see the Pills Note on the ground.
At the end of the road where we found the arcade in a pizzeria and Hui Wang's firefly pendant, you'll be able to spot a Note To Bob underneath a "You Will Be Shot" sign. What wonderful hospitality.
The next artefact is nearby. Go inside the Marquis music store and enter the back office. You may want to turn on your torch/flashlight. There's a Perimeter Note that can be picked up by the computer right next to the printer.
After Joel tells Ellie to do all the talking with Bill, you'll drop down to the ground with the help of a ladder. Go under the trap and turn left. You'll enter a white door that's underneath a wooden balcony. Ellie says Joel is crazy when he enters inside. Go up the stairs, and take the first left while you're on the second floor. Eliminate the clicker that tries to jump you. After you've dealt with it, go through the room and you'll see writing asking for Rachel to look at a note.
After escaping the clickers and Bill agreeing to fix a car for Joel and Ellie, you'll be in a bar. You can find Bill's Map in this location. You'll see a working area nearby the bar next to the Central Light sign. On the table, you'll see his map. While you're there, pick up the shiv training manual at the end of the bar table.
Thankfully, the next artifact is in a nearby room. Turn 180 degrees, and you'll see a doorway that has a darts board next to it. You'll find a Fences Note on the coffee table. You may need your flashlight/torch to find it as it's in a dark room.
After telling Bill you've found everything you need in the bar, you'll reach the second floor of the building. Turn right after the staircase into a more well-lit room from the windows. You'll see a chair sideways on the floor and a bed by the door. On the table where the chair has fallen, you'll see a Hunters Note.
The next artifact is found within a church. Go up the aisle and turn right after some stair steps. You're now in Bill's room. On a table with three candles to the right, you'll find a Bombs note.
You'll come across a treehouse and then a pool once you jump down to the ground. Enter the house on the right side. Venture up the stairs to the second floor. Find the room with blue and yellow striped wallpaper. Go to the window sill and you'll see the Boy's Diary waiting for you next to a brown jacket.
The last artifact that can be found in this chapter is within the house where Ellie finds a car at the end of the level. Go back inside the house after a cutscene plays and go into the living room. Continue forwards past the couches into a bedroom. On the left of the bed is a white table with a lamp on it. The Note from Frank is laying on it.
Pass the note to Bill to activate an optional conversation. After he reads it, he’ll throw it down to the ground, upset at what he just learned. Instead of going to the back of the car, pick up the paper on the right-hand side of the vehicle. This is the last artifact you’ll need to find, and it will activate the In Memorium trophy.

The Last of Us Part 1 Bill's Town Shiv Locations
Just before letting Ellie jump over a metal fence for you, go back and you'll see a door that can be opened with a shiv on the left side of the path. You can make a shiv with some binding and a blade. You'll find a bunch of supplements and crafting resources inside.
The next door is to the left of the Marquis music store. Go up the alleyway, and a clicker will be blown up by a mine set by Bill. Go around the corner and turn right to see an elevated, closed grey door. You’ll find a few supplements and other crafting tools inside after using a shiv.
- There's actually a trophy unlocked by petting a dog in The Last of Us Part 1. Adorable!
The Last of Us Part 1 Bill's Town Optional Conversations
After letting Ellie jump up and open up a metal fenced door for you, go forwards, and on your right, you'll see an old pizzeria with a blue front. There's some moss on the right as well. Go inside after climbing up a brief stone staircase. Once you enter, you'll see an abandoned restaurant. On the right, an arcade is standing there called The Turning. Ellie will walk up to it and after pressing triangle, she'll discuss her history with it.
In the bar where you officially meet Bill, you'll see a chess table on the left side. Interact with it to gain the optional conversation. Ellie says she's always wanted to learn how to play the game.
In the blue and yellow striped room where you find the Boy's Diary, Ellie will walk inside. Press the triangle button to begin the conversation. Ellie will try to say sorry once more for them losing Tess.
The last two optional conversations occur when Ellie finds a car within a house. For the first optional conversation, speak to Ellie while she’s in the driver's seat.
The second optional conversation in this area begins after giving Bill the note from Frank. He’ll then throw the artifact away.
- The Last of Us characters being in Fortnite was rumoured but an official word has been released by Neil Druckmann on the topic.
The Last of Us Part 1 Bill's Town Safe Location
You'll find a safe opposite the pizzeria where you found an arcade. Go to the Concord Eatery on Main, and you'll see a safe beside a rusted car on the right of the restaurant. The code is 05-17-21. Inside, you'll discover 50 crafting parts for your weapons and ammo.
- With Warner Bros. Discovery making cuts to Batgirl and other movies, some are worried that The Last of Us HBO show will be cancelled too.
The Last of Us Part 1 Firefly Pendant Locations
After finding the first safe by the Concord Eatery on Main, keep running up the road until you see an RV that collided with a police car. Jump on top of the RV and collect Hui Wang's firefly pendant on the right side.
After defeating the infected alongside Bill, look at the lamppost that is right from the fire engine. You'll see a firefly pendant wrapped nearby the light fixture. Shoot it down to retrieve Alex Raymond Vincent's firefly pendant.
+
The last firefly pendant is found after taking out a bunch of clickers in the graveyard. Enter through the gate that Bill kindly opens for us and hide behind the green bin on the left. We recommend taking out the clickers on the path ahead with a Molotov cocktail. There are a few more in the front garden to the left. Try to dispatch them as stealthily as possible to maintain your ammo.
Now, go inside the red house and find a small bathroom with a blue rug. On the left of the toilet, you'll be able to pick up Mroznik's firefly pendant.
And after that long chapter, that is where you can find all The Last of Us Part 1 Bill's Town collectibles. If you need help on the first two chapters, you can find our guides below:
