You may be wondering about the Warzone 2 file size, such as how many GB you will need to download for the game. Warzone 2 is the sequel to the immensely popular Call of Duty battle royale, which is set to release on November 16 (that's tomorrow as of writing this).

With this comes a whole new map, and lots of big additions, ranging from changes to existing mechanics to outright new game modes like DMZ, meaning the game's file size is set to be fairly large. So check out exactly how big below.

How many GB is the game?

According to the system requirements, which can be found on Steam and Battle.net, you will need a total of 125 GB free to install the game. This is a fairly sizeable amount right out the gate, so you may want to put the download on overnight if you want to play it on launch. It's also likely this size will go up in the future as more content and updates are added.

Currently, there is no concrete information on the exact file size for Warzone 2 on Xbox and PlayStation, though we can expect it will be slightly smaller due to the lack of configuring options on consoles. A Twitter leaker called ALumia_Italia revealed the Xbox file size may be 115 GB, but we won't know until later.

Keep checking the store page for Warzone 2 on your platform of choice, and the information should be made available sometime prior to launch.

Make sure to also check out how to get custom loadouts in Warzone 2, which allow you to tear up the battlefield with your own weapons.
