There's nothing quite like the feeling of downing an enemy in a single shot, and now it's possible again thanks to the Shillelagh Sniper. One-shot Snipers are controversial in Warzone 2, as the developers and the community can't seem to agree on if they belong.
However, for a limited time at least, the Shillelagh one-shot Sniper is your key to reliving the days when snipers ruled over Warzone.
How can you get the Shillelagh one-shot Sniper?
As the St. Patrick’s Day folklore goes, the pot of gold rests at the end of the rainbow. You can find the Shillelagh one-shot Sniper at the end of the rainbow on either Al Mazrah or Ashika Island. Furthermore, the it's also available in Resurgence, Battle Royale, and MW2 DMZ.
Every match during the St. Patrick’s Day event, a rainbow will appear in the skies above the map. If you can be the first Operator to reach the end of the rainbow and discover the treasure, you will come across a slew of themed Supply Boxes and the Shillelagh Sniper.
If you miss the one-shot Snipers from the original Warzone, this is a dream come true. It remains to be seen if standard one-shot sniper loadouts will return. In the meantime, race the rest of the lobby to the end of the rainbow, and this unique one-shot Sniper can be yours to abuse.
What is the Shillelagh?
The Shillelagh Sniper is a limited-time Victus XMR Blueprint only available during the Warzone 2 St. Patrick’s Day celebration. It sports green and gold colouring fitting to the holiday, but the real draw of the rifle is its ability to one-shot down enemies with a single bullet anywhere to the body.
You heard that right - even if you hit a limb, the Shillelagh Sniper will down a three-plated Operator instantly. To the dismay of Sniper enthusiasts, you cannot keep or recreate the one-shot Sniper Blueprint. And if you manage to secure the Shillelagh Sniper, enjoy it because it will likely go away for good when the St. Patrick’s Day event ends.
