Discover the Warzone best LAPA loadouts, including the best LAPA attachments, perks, and equipment.
The Warzone best LAPA loadouts are designed around Warzone’s newest submachine gun (SMG). The LAPA SMG lacks in fire rate but makes up for it with its impressive damage, handling and damage range. This combination of power and range has many Warzone players speculating that the LAPA SMG could soon become meta, so this Call of Duty Warzone best LAPA loadouts guide will teach you how to unlock the LAPA and the accompanying best LAPA attachments, perks, and equipment to use with it.
Warzone Best LAPA Loadouts: How To Unlock The LAPA
Unlocking the LAPA SMG requires a bit more effort than it usually takes to unlock Warzone guns. Instead of simply levelling up and unlocking the LAPA as you play, Warzone players will need to complete a series of nine Warzone-specific challenges related to the Warzone Halloween event 2021. The nine challenges Warzone players must complete to unlock the LAPA SMG are as follows:
- Play five matches in The Ghosts of Verdansk playlist
- Earn a Top ten final placement with your Squad in The Ghosts of Verdansk playlist three times
- Eliminate ten enemy Ghosts in The Ghosts of Verdansk playlist
- Eliminate ten enemy Humans while playing as your Operator in The Ghosts of Verdansk playlist
- Eliminate five enemy Humans while playing as a Ghost in The Ghosts of Verdansk playlist
- As a Ghost, redeploy as your Operator by collecting three souls or performing a Finishing Move on a standing, crouching, or prone Human enemy
- Use three Sacred Ground locations to reduce your Fear Meter in The Ghosts of Verdansk playlist
- Answer three phones in The Ghosts of Verdansk playlist
- Experience three hallucinations while you have a full Fear Meter in The Ghosts of Verdnask playlist
Players that complete all nine of these challenges will be granted access to the LAPA SMG in Warzone. These challenges will be available until The Haunting Halloween event ends on November 2. It’s not yet known what options Warzone players will have to unlock the LAPA once the event has concluded.
Alternatively, the purchase of any LAPA blueprint will automatically unlock the LAPA SMG. Right now, the LAPA Abnormality blueprint is the only LAPA blueprint for sale in the in-game store. The LAPA Abnormality blueprint is part of the Terrible End bundle. Warzone players may purchase the Terrible End bundle for 1,200 COD Points. Doing so will immediately grant access to the LAPA SMG.
Warzone players who wish to equip the LAPA with all of the best attachments will still need to level up the gun by earning Weapon XP.
Warzone Best LAPA Loadouts
Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
Stock: SAS Combat Stock
Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd
Barrel: 7.9” Rifled OR Optic: Microflex LED
Agency Suppressor: A suppressor is always a necessity in Warzone. All of the best Warzone LAPA loadouts will equip some sort of suppressor. The Agency Suppressor is a perfect fit for the LAPA because it increases the weapon’s damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control — all weaknesses of the default LAPA. The additional benefits of equipping a suppressor, such as sound suppression and gunfire not showing up on the radar, is just the icing on the cake.
Tiger Team Spotlight: The Tiger Team Spotlight laser attachment provides an extra boost to overall movement speed and aim walking movement speed. The Tiger Team Spotlight laser is visible to nearby enemies, but that won’t matter when you’re running circles around them.
SAS Combat Stock: The SAS Combat Stock is the premier attachment for Warzone players looking to increase their overall movement speed. This stock will further improve your firing movement speed, aim walking movement speed, and ADS movement speed.
STANAG 50 Rnd: Enemies in Warzone are bullet sponges, so it’s always a good idea to go into battle with an extended magazine. The STANAG 50 Rnd attachment adds a bunch of extra bullets to the Warzone LAPA’s magazine and comes with minor drawbacks. Equip the STANAG 50 Rnd attachment onto your Warzone LAPA loadout to guarantee you always have enough bullets to finish off your rivals.
7.9” Rifled: The 7.9” Rifled barrel will slightly penalize your LAPA’s bullet velocity and range, but it will provide an overall damage boost and fire rate buff to the SMG. All in all, the 7.9” Rifled barrel’s benefits outweigh its drawbacks.
Microflex LED: To be frank, the LAPA’s iron sights are terrible. For that reason, it’s not a bad idea to substitute one of the above attachments for an optic. We recommended forgoing the 7.9” Rifled barrel, as it's the least beneficial attachment of this Warzone LAPA loadout.
Altogether, these LAPA attachments get the most out of Warzone’s newest SMG. The LAPA’s prowess in close-quarters combat makes it a prime candidate to join the list of Warzone most popular guns.
Warzone Best LAPA Loadouts: Perks And Equipment
Perks: Double Time/E.O.D., Ghost/Overkill, Combat Scout/Amped
The best perks for a Warzone LAPA loadout are entirely dependent on player choice and playstyle.
For Perk 1, it’s a toss-up between Double Time and E.O.D. Double Time is great for zooming around the map and capitalizing on the LAPA’s strengths. However, explosives can be a pain in Warzone, so we don’t blame anyone that would rather use E.O.D. for protection.
When it comes to Perk 2, Ghost is the undisputed perk of choice for players opting to run the LAPA with a standard secondary weapon. Ghost will protect users from enemy UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, two extremely prevalent aspects of Warzone. On the other hand, players looking to pair their LAPA loadout with one of the Warzone best snipers will need to occupy their Perk 2 slot with Overkill.
Finally, Perk 3 is dependent on what you are using for Perk 2. Ghost should be coupled with Combat Scout for superior intel, while Amped perfectly pairs with Overkill for faster weapon swap time.
Secondary: Diamatti/Kar98K
The Diamatti pistol has taken over Warzone. This powerful secondary weapon has a stunning ~ 28% pick ratio, meaning one in every four Warzone players is using the Diamatti as their secondary weapon. Equipped with the right attachments, players can build a Warzone best Diamatti loadout capable of competing with primary weapons.
Players using the Overkill perk on their LAPA loadout should settle on the iconic Kar98K marksman rifle as their secondary weapon. Coupled with the LAPA SMG, this duo can go toe to toe with some of the Best Warzone loadouts.
Equipment: Semtex/Throwing Knife and Heartbeat Sensor/Stun Grenade
The Semtex Grenade is the best choice of lethal equipment in most situations. The Semtex Grenade is easy to use and is great for finishing off enemies in hiding or pushing an enemy out of cover. Alternatively, Throwing Knives serve as a great tool for finishing off downed enemies quickly without the need to waste precious ammo.
Heartbeat Sensors are far and away the most popular choice for tactical equipment. The intel provided by a Heartbeat Sensor is unrivalled and invaluable, regardless of your weapon loadout. However, the Stun Grenade is a solid tactical option for players who are opposed to the Heartbeat Sensor.
You now have everything you need to build the best Warzone LAPA loadout. When it’s all said and done, the LAPA may be one of the Warzone best SMGs. Stay tuned here at GGRecon for Call of Duty: Warzone news, guides, features, and more.
