Warzone Iron Trials 84 New Mode: Rules And Rewards
Everything you need to know about the new Warzone Iron Trials 84 mode including the rules and rewards.
The Warzone Iron Trials 84 mode was announced a while back, and now, it's finally here. Call of Duty Warzone often sees rotating playlists with various rules and limited time events, but the Iron Trials 84 playlist is one for the hardcore players only.
This mode introduces vastly different rules and makes the game much tougher compared to usual - think back to the barebones playlists of older games in the series and you're along the right lines. We've got everything you need to know about the Warzone Iron Trials 84 mode though, including all the rules and rewards.

Warzone Iron Trials 84 Rules
When you get down to the specifics, a lot has changed for Iron Trials 84, so let's cover the major differences.
First up are buy stations; everything you can purchase has increased in price, including Self Revive from $4,000 to $5,000, and Loadout Drops from $10,000 to a whopping $15,000. There are also no free loadout drops scattered throughout the map periodically like usual; dropping 15 ponies on one at a buy station is the only way you can use your own loadouts. Players start with a .44 Magnum and a Sledgehammer as opposed to the usual starting pistol.
When it comes to the match time and circle speed, round timers have been decreased by exactly 12%, and the gas speed has increased by 12%. This means that around two minutes have been taken off the total length of a match, so you'll need to get a move on when looting and gearing up. Don't rely on a helicopter or truck to get you to safety either; dirt bikes and ATVs are the only vehicles in this mode. Melee finishers have also been removed, so you can't sneak up on someone for a cheeky assassination.
Player health has increased to 2.5x the usual too; 250 instead of 100, but health regeneration has been decreased to balance it out. It now takes seven seconds instead of five to start regenerating health, and you only regenerate 40 health per second instead of 120 now.
When it comes to loot and weapons, there are a lot of changes, but the basic gist of it is that better weapons are now harder to find. There's also a brand new rarity of weapon - classified - that features Black Ops Cold War guns only with more than five attachments each, but finding one is incredibly difficult.
The gulag has changed significantly too: akimbo weapons, semi-auto, and fully-auto shotguns have all been removed, as has most tactical equipment. On top of that, whatever gear you win your gulag fight with is what you'll respawn with when you return to Verdansk.
Warzone Iron Trials 84 Rewards
What do you get for playing and winning in the Warzone Iron Trials 84 mode? Just taking part won't net you anything - no "everybody's a winner" motto here - but winning a match will get you an exclusive calling card. That's it though, so if you were hoping for a unique weapon or operator skin, you're out of luck.
