Wild Hearts is the surprising new collaboration between EA and Omega Force, and it’s a cooperative action title that looks to offer that familiar gameplay loop of hunting monsters and crafting better gear that’s made Monster Hunter and God Eater so popular.

While those franchises haven’t offered any way to play with friends on other platforms, Wild Hearts is a little different. Here’s everything we know about crossplay and cross-progression on Wild Hearts.

Does Wild Hearts have crossplay?

Good news, Kemono hunters – Wild Hearts will offer crossplay at launch across all systems and storefronts.

As per the game’s official website:

“You’ll be able to seamlessly join two friends on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Origin, Steam, and Epic Games Store) to hunt down Kemono.”

It’s worth noting that Origin also refers to EA’s Desktop app.

Considering some of the fearsome foes to tackle, Wild Hearts supporting crossplay is going to be a blessing, and the game offers three-player co-op play.

Does Wild Hearts have cross-progression?

Sadly, at the time of writing, there’s no word on cross-progression (or cross-save) in Wild Hearts. That means that there’s no guarantee your progress will transfer from, say, Steam to Epic or Xbox to PlayStation.

If that changes, though, we’ll update the page - here's hoping.
