Remnant 2 being free to play would be a thrill for many. You would be able to invite your buddies even if they have zero money in their accounts. Most multiplayer games follow a free-to-play model nowadays, but does Remnant 2 follow the same path as games like Path of Exile and Overwatch 2

In the past, Remnant: From The Ashes has been available for free for a limited time on Xbox Game Pass, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation Plus. However, the sequel Remnant 2 will cost you $49.99/£44.99 physically and digitally.

Additionally, Remnant 2 won't be on any subscription services like Xbox Game Pass on day one. It's a shame that it's not available this way as it will impede the accessibility of the title. It may lack in its player base.

Remnant 2 will be offering a brand new chapter in the sci-fi story. You'll be visiting multiple worlds with four different archetypes to choose from.

"Branching quest lines, augments, crafting, and loot rewards will test the resolve of even the most hardened players in dynamically generated dungeons and areas," Gearbox claims on the game's Steam page. The game publisher also says Remnant 2 has "endless replayability."

It also claims that each of the worlds provides "encouraging exploration and multiple revisits." Remnant 2 seems to be anticipating players with hundreds of hours into the game.

One thing to keep in mind about Remnant 2, however, is that it's currently not crossplay. PC gamers can play Remnant 2 with both Epic Games and Steam users, on the other hand.
