The MP5A2 is the first SMG you'll have in XDefiant and one of the most reliable, thanks to its well-rounded stats. The right weapon loadout of attachments will ensure you never have to use another SMG.

Attachments
- Muzzle: Light Suppressor
- Front Rail: Superlight
- Optic: Reflex Sight
- Magazine: Quick Mag
- Rear Grip: Lightweight Grip
- Stock: Padded Stock
Like with most SMGs, you should be using the MP5 with a very mobile, fast-paced playstyle where you can get the jump on enemies and move on before it gets hairy.
My first recommendation is the Light Suppressor, as it really gives you the advantage of being stealthy and compliments the more mobile style of play. Plus, the disadvantages aren't enough to take much away from the gun's qualities.
Sticking with the theme of being mobile, the Superlight Front Rail will increase your movement speed slightly along with your aim-down-sight (ADS) speed. You'll want an Optic too, with the Reflex Sight being the best option.
Next up is the Quick Mag for a much faster reload speed and the Lightweight Grip to reduce your recoil spread and keep your bullets trained on your enemies.
The Padded Stock comes last and reduces your recoil even further, while also making your ADS more stable overall, even when getting shot.
Equipment
- Device: Flash Grenade
- Secondary: 93R
With the stealth focus of this build in mind, the Flash Grenade gives you a good out when you're overwhelmed, letting you escape and refocus. Considering you'll mostly be in close-quarter engagements, you can also use it before clearing an area you know multiple enemies are in.
For the secondary, I've gone with the 93R, mostly because it's the best sidearm that you can also fit a silencer onto.
