In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Crystallized Charges are effectively the solidified version of the Zonai Charges you will pick up during your journey from enemy drops.

They are used to create Energy Wells that will expand the duration of the Energy Cell battery you get after completing the In-Isa Shrine on Great Sky Island. However, you’re going to need 100 of them for this, so you’d better start hoarding.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom introduces several new devices into the game in the form of Zonai technology, such as fans and flame emitters.

This ancient technology will help you navigate the world in new and exciting ways, but you’ll need a well-charged Energy Cell to use them. That’s where the Crystallized Charges come in.

You can start collecting Crystalized Charges relatively early in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but you probably won’t be using them until later in the game.

You can buy 10 in the Mining Cave on Great Sky Island. However, it will take some time before the stock replenishes. But, the Forge Construct will be happy to help you.

They can also be found in the Great Abandoned Mine in Hyrule, where there are 30 on sale.

Large Crystallized Charges can be dropped by the Frox boss in The Depths. This equates to around 20 standard Crystallized Charges. The boss fight can be tough, but it will be rewarding.

That’s everything you need to start collecting Crystallized Charges in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Looking for more items to hoard? Why not check out our guide for farming Spicy Peppers as well?
