How to get & use the Ring Garland in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Check out our explanation of getting and using the Ring Garland in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, as it's a unique item that can be used to get a special dialogue response from a character in Gerudo Town.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is full of secrets and activities for players to find across its huge open world, giving you tonnes of ways to spend your time in Hyrule. The game doesn't always hold your hand though, so learning many things comes down to experimentation.
So, take a look at our explainer of the Ring Garland, and what you can do with it.
How to get the Ring Garland
To get the Ring Garland in Tears of the Kingdom, you will need to make your way to Kakariko Village and purchase it from Koko for five Rupees.
This village can be found in the southeast of the map, in the western part of Necluda (marked on the map above. After purchasing the Ring Garland in TotK, there's no immediately obvious use for the item, but players have already found out what to do with it.
How to use the Ring Garland
If you're wondering how to use the Ring Garland, players have currently only found one use for the item, though we'll make sure to update this section if more are discovered. Here's what to do:
- Start by Fusing the Ring Garland to a shield, so it's easier to carry around.
- Now head to Gerudo Town in the Gerudo Desert, which is in the southwest of the map (marked on the map above).
- Head down into the Gerudo Shelter during the evening.
- Speak to Ashai and agree to help with class, repeating until it's Deltan's turn.
Once Deltan begins speaking to you, she will have a unique response to you if you have the TotK Ring Garland equipped. Essentially, she will find a new lease on life and realise she hasn't been forsaken by luck and love.
During the conversation, Deltan will also mention the purpose of a Ring Garland is to bind the destinies of two people. This suggests it could have other uses in the game relating to this concept, so we'll update this guide if any more are discovered.
While you're in the southwest of the map, check out all Gerudo Shrine locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
