How to get & use the Like Like Stone in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The powerful Like Like Stone can help you make special elixirs and buff your weapons up by quite a margin in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Like Like Stone is actually very useful in the right hands. It can create useful elixirs if brewed correctly, and it can also buff starter weapons by quite a wide margin.
Here's everything you need to know about the Like Like Stone in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where can you find the Like Like Stone?
You'll receive a Like Like Stone after defeating the monster of the same name. They're in the early game location of Great Sky Island.
Fast travel to the Gutanbac Shrine, put some cold-weather clothes on, and then head down east. You'll probably need a paraglider to get to the lower levels under the mountain you're currently on.
Once you find a patch of snow underneath the rocky area, you'll notice a cave entrance. You may also find an annoying Construct robot with a flamethrower attachment.
Go into the cave, and you'll see the worm-like creature from the above picture after you climb a hill. To take it down, wait until it reveals its tongue and then strike it. You may also want to roll a Bomb Flower into its mouth to cause an explosion. Be careful not to get swallowed up instead. Keep your distance.
How to use the Like Like Stone
Once the Like Like has been defeated, it should drop a Like Like Stone. Pick it up. Now, head over to a heated pot of any kind, Zonai or not.
After that, hold the Like Like Stone under the Materials menu and pick a monster part like a Hightail Lizard. Be careful not to make Dubious Food though! I tried to add a Hinox Toenail to it, and the result wasn't optimal, to say the least.
Once mixed with the Hightail Lizard and cooked, the Like Like Stone formed into a Hasty Elixir, which boosts your speed for two minutes and 50 seconds.
The Like Like Stone can also turn a feeble stick into a mighty weapon. You can fuse the item into a weapon, and the Like Like Stone will provide +4 damage.
