How to cross the bridge to Rito Village in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Getting to the Rito Village in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be tricky thanks to the broken bridge, here is how you can overcome this obstacle easily.
Looking for a way to cross the broken bridge to Rito Village in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Traveling around Hyrule in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be tricky after the Upheaval, as routes have been damaged or completely destroyed.
The bridge to the Rito Village is one of many blocked or broken routes in the game, meaning we will need another way to get across. So, here's exactly how to cross the bridge to Rito Village in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
How to replace the bridge to Rito Village
If you take the main roads on your journey to Rito Village, you will come to a sudden stop just as you pass the Lucky Clover Gazette. The village is on a tall island in the middle of a lake, with several bridges between several smaller islands linking it to the rest of the land.
However, the first bridge heading toward the village has been destroyed by the storm. This isn't much of an issue for Link's newfound powers, though, as you can create all kinds of contraptions to solve this issue, the simplest of which is to replace the bridge with one of your own.
There are plenty of trees nearby, so get out your axe and start chopping. If you need one, there is a large axe behind the nearby shelter. You'll need to stack five tree trunks end-on-end in order to cross the gap. (For your own safety, it would be wise to make your bridge at least two trunks wide, which means we need ten tree trunks!).
Once you have your five-trunks-by-two bridge built, pick it up with Ultrahand and carry it to where the broken bridge was. Make sure your bridge is touching the opposite side, then drop it into place. Once it is settled and secure, use it to cross over and make your way to the Rito Village.
Other ways into Rito Village
As with most things in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there are multiple approaches you can take to get to the Rito Village. The bridge is one of the most straightforward, but there is an even simpler way across.
Now, you can go about making vehicles that will get you across. Wings, hot air balloons, or any flying craftable vehicle is a viable way across- but why fly, when you can fall?
Just north of Rito Village is the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. If you make your way there and use it to launch yourself into the sky, you can glide your way straight to Rito Village and never bother with the bridge.
