How to sign up for the Zenless Zone Zero Technical Test
Here is everything you need to know about how to sign up for the Zenless Zone Zero Technical Test that will be arriving soon on PS5 for players to try out.
Zenless Zone Zero is the upcoming game from miHoYo, the Chinese studio that brought us Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, and I’ve outlined below how you can sign up for the Technical Test.
It’s still unknown when the will be released in full- so far it is still slated for some time during this year. However, with the PS5 Technical Test, you’ll be able to dive in and check out the game early. So far we know the game will be in a post-apocalyptic future with an urban backdrop that acts as the last bastion of hope from the Hollows.
There have been previous tests for PC and Mobile, but this is the first one for PS5 and here’s how to register.
Zenless Zone Zero Technical Test sign-up
- Follow this link to be taken to the website
- Sign in with your HoYoverse account (or register to create a new one)
- You’ll now be taken to some terms and conditions as well as a survey
- If you feel comfortable proceeding hit Start at the bottom
- You’ll then be asked a series of multiple-choice questions as listed below:
- When were you born?
- Gender
- Occupation
- Which of the studio's games have you played before
- Platforms you game on
- How often you use your consoles
- You’ll then be asked about which genres you play
- Now you’re provided with a list of games, ticking the ones you’ve played
- Next, you’ll be asked to answer roughly how much time you’ve put into different games from the previous page
- Now pop in your email address again and your survey is complete
The process is relatively involved, but I rattled through in five minutes or so without any problems. The hardest question was how many hours I’ve put into Elden Ring - nobody wants to admit that.
When does the sign-up period end?
You can sign up by following the steps above until April 17, so you have a little while to get it sorted. It is currently unknown when the test will begin but hopefully, it should be revealed soon.
